Harriet “Momi” Kaleimomi Ibanez, 86, of Hilo died March 31, 2013, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Feb. 21, 1927, in Hilo, she was a papaya packer for the former Del Monte Papaya and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 19 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, Hilo, for a 10 a.m. service. Burial is at noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by sons, Frank (Eileen) Ogawa, Dennis (Lori) Ibanez Sr. and Kimo (Korrie) Ibanez Sr., all of Hilo; daughter, Rowena (Ed) Payne Noriega of California; stepson, Bradford (Betty) Ibanez of Honolulu; stepdaughter, Theresa (Kenneth) Funakoshi of California; brother, Larry (Beverly) Mehau of Waimea; sisters, Maile Ogawa of Honolulu, Beverly Kamohai of Hilo; 21 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
